If you had the opportunity to say something to Iqbal what would it be?  Write Iqbal a letter.

Describe this novel in three words.
Iqbal had escaped but unfortunately he was apprehended by the police and returned to Hussain Khan.  Hussain bribed the policemen and once they left Iqbal was thrown in the tomb again.  Luckily, at the end of the chapter we realize that Iqbal has been released.  Make a prediction of what we will read next.  Where will the plot lead? What will occur next?  What will happen to our main character and supporting characters?

Iqbal: A Novel

When Iqbal is sold into slavery at a carpet factory, his arrival changes everything for the other overworked and abused children there.  It is Iqbal that explains to them that despite their master's promises, he plans on keeping them as their slaves indefinitely.  But it is also Iqbal that inspires the other children to look for a future free from toil...and is brave enough to show them how to get there.
